Since 2001, I have taught at renowned art schools internationally, including as a professor at HDK Valand – Academy of Art & Design in Gothenburg, Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle, and Kunsthochschule Kassel. In my teaching, I develop experimental approaches that explore artistic practices as a performative, socio-material, and multimedial process, encouraging students to critically and experientially engage with different modes of making and thinking.
For me, education is a process of collective inquiry and learning. As a professor, I create formats that enable students to understand and engage with the dynamic interplay of body, object, and space—integrating these dynamics throughout the entire process of development, use, and reception of artistic and design projects. My teaching combines conceptual and practice-based methods, fostering independent artistic and design positions across disciplines.
Through my work in curatorial and research projects, I extend these approaches beyond the classroom, exploring new forms of knowledge production and interdisciplinary exchange. This experience informs my teaching, allowing me to create learning environments that are both experimental and connected to real-world practices.
