EQUALITY DESIGN
Exhibition during Tendence lifestyle.
The concept underlying the exhibition "EQuality Design" addresses the question of the marketability of products from sheltered workshops. When it comes to quality, these businesses can compete with conventional production but are mainly focused at the individual and his or her needs. In reference to this fact, the actual exhibition is reduced to a small and dense Kiosk-like situation where - contrary to anonymous supermarket shopping - an individual person acts as a link between the products and customers. The kiosk is surrounded by a landscape of benches that invite people to rest, thus also providing a different rhythm to counterbalance the usual hustle and bustle of a fair.
